What we believe:
We are in the mainstream of conservative, evangelical theology.
  • We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus is the unique Son of God, who became a flesh
and blood person, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross as a
sacrifice and payment for our sinful disobedience.  When we trust him,
we have forgiveness of sins, peace with our Heavenly Father, eternal
life in heaven, and many other blessings.
  • We believe that God pours out His own Holy Spirit into our hearts to
bring healing, spiritual gifts, and power for living.
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and the
authoritative source and norm for our preaching, our faith, and our life.
  • We believe that the Apostles’ and the Nicene Creed are true
    declarations of our faith.

There are many other things that could be said in regard to the essentials of
the faith, but these are some of the more important elements.  We also know
that there are many issues that have traditionally divided Christ's church and
that people of great biblical knowledge and deep faith disagree about.  It is
our duty toward Christ to be in loving dialogue with one another, keeping our
Lord Jesus as our focus, so that we may live in unity and peace.
